Sooner or later, Arduino enthusiasts always come across the dot matrix display. It is a two-dimensional patterned LED array that is used to represent characters, symbols, and images. Almost all modern outdoor LED displays use dot matrices.
And there is hardly any better option than the MAX7219 IC to control them. This is a simple and somewhat inexpensive way of controlling a single matrix. In addition they can be chained together to control two or more dot matrices for larger projects.
Overall they are a lot of fun and quite useful as well, so let’s get started
– Single module can drive an 8*8 dot matrix common cathode
– Module Operating voltage: 5V
– Module dimensions : length 3.2cm X 3.2cm wide X 1.3cm
– Holes with four screws, diameter 3mm
– Modules with input and output interfaces, support for cascading multiple modules

R305 Fingerprint Scanner Module processing includes two processes: fingerprint registration process and fingerprint matching process (fingerprint matching which is divided into fingerprint matching (1: 1) and fingerprint search (1: N) in two ways]. When the fingerprint is registered, entry twice for each fingerprint, and processed the image, a composite template is stored in the module. Fingerprint matching, through the fingerprint sensor, entry the fingerprint image and processing, and then matching comparison with the module fingerprint template (if it is matched a template specified in the module, known as fingerprint matching, that is 1: 1 mode. If it is matched with multiple templates, it is called fingerprint search mode (1: N mode). The module gives the result of matching (pass or fail).
